Registration for the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia’s Camp New Hope is now open. Mark your calendars for Youth camp dates: June 29-July 3, 2014. Generally, In-State camp fees range from $150/$125/$100 per camper and space is limited. Please allow a $4 processing fee for online payments. Discounts are available for eligible siblings: If a family is sending two children, the first child is $150 and the second child (and third child) is $125/child . Example: $150 +125+125. If the family has four (to five kids), the first child costs $150, the next two are $125 each, and the fourth child is $100. Example: 150 +125+125+100. The Out-of-State camp fee is $500/child. Camp will be held at Camp Twin Lakes in Winder, Georgia. Physician assessment required. More Details Below. A Teen Retreat (ages 16-17) is anticipated this year. If you are interested, email firstname.lastname@example.org and put the word Teen in the subject line. Teen program details will be announced at a later date. A camp fee is anticipated. DEADLINES: Application Deadline: May 15, 2014. No Exceptions. One completed application per camper. Follow-Up Paperwork Deadline: May 29, 2014 Full Fee Payment: June 25, 2014 *Acceptance is on a first-come, first-serve basis once the application and ALL follow-up paperwork has been received by the Camp Director. What: A medically-supervised summer camp for children with sickle cell disease. Where: Camp Twin Lakes, Will-A-Way in Winder, GA. Why: Camp New Hope provides an enriching experience that fosters independence, self-esteem, and friendships. Application Process for Campers
In-State Camp Fees ($4 online processing fee included below) $150 for the 1st or only child registered (Installments: 5@$30/mo/child) $125 each for the 2nd and 3rd child from the same household (Installments: 5@ $25/mo/child; or $50/mo for 2nd and 3rd siblings) $100 each for the 4th and 5th child from the same household (5@$20/mo/child; or $40/mo for both 4th and 5th siblings) For example: If you are sending 4 children from the same household, the total cost would be $500 (150+125+125+100 and 5 installments of 30+25+25+20 or $100/mo for all). Out-of-State Camp Fee ($4 online processing fee included below) $500 per child. No multiple sibling discounts (Installments: 5@$100/mo/child).
